Hello everyone,

It’s been a while, and we wanted to provide an update on what Kongregate has been up to these last few weeks.

First off, we hope everyone is staying safe and in good spirits. For our part, we’re happy to announce that all of our employees have transitioned to working from home and are currently safe & healthy. We are observing social distancing guidelines, adapting to the challenges of the new normal, and continuing to meet online via video chat to stay connected with each other. Our teams continue to work hard to innovate and deliver the kind of games we like to make and that you love to play.

One of the cornerstones of Kongregate’s mission has always been to build and support our communities, online or otherwise.

With this in mind, we are very proud to announce our participation in a fundraising partnership with Direct Relief, raising money to help support those risking their lives to combat the COVID-19 global health crisis.

Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. Right now, Direct Relief is coordinating with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations and businesses to provide personal protective equipment and other items to health workers responding to coronavirus (COVID-19).

We’d love your help! If you give to Direct Relief by May 22nd, 2020, Kongregate will match your donation up to $5,000. You can donate to this great cause by visiting our Kongregate COVID-19 Fundraiser page.

We’re also donating $10,000 to Direct Relief and will be donating an additional $10,000 split between four local food banks - one in each of our office locations.
